Sent my hernia prolapse belt back to be adjusted. I paid for it. It needed to be adjusted a little more as the hole the pouch goes through was too small. The owner of the company REFUSED to adjust it! He said to place the pouch ON AFTER I put the hernia belt on!! It CANNOT work that way!! So, he sent it back without adjusted the ring (that I paid for) and now my pouches are coming off and pulling from the ring scraping!! POOR SERVICE when it is FOR A COLOSTOMY!!!! If you look at pics (that owner took), he laid wafer on table and bent up sides of wafer to pull through the ring. Hence, the pouch is NOT on it. THEN, he attaches the pouch to the wafer — if you look, the bottom of the ring is ON part of the pouch and crimps it— so, not only is it pulling pouch off because of the rubbing, nothing can drop down to the end of pouch because it’s crimped!!! My stomach is NOT flat!! FIX IT!

You changed the ostomy wafer cutter. It doesn't work at all. The blade is too short. I'm a retired veteran and depend on all my ostomy supplies through the VA. Nu Hope labs used to be something I could count on. No longer.

I cannot say enough good things about the compassion and dedication of these "Angels." My Mother had a Colostomy in 2004. Due to complications from radiation, the "rosette" was ill-formed and retractive. For months, I tried every known brand of pouching system on the market...nothing worked. Finally, I came across a brochure about Nu-Hope Laboratories Inc. We packed up Mom, a couple of suitcases, some last-ditch hope, and headed for Pacoima, CA from Phoenix, AZ. Mickey, the Wound Care Nurse worked with my Mom for 5+ hours; forming and tweaking a custom-fit latex mold. We left with a small supply to try; little did I know they had just handed me freedom for Mom to live the rest of her life without fear. To this day, I order her Ostomy supplies from Nu-Hope. Mom's 88 now. I have referred 3 other equally tortured patients to this group...all of whom have come back with happy-endings, gratitude and amazement over Nu-Hope's life-changing work. While I pray that any person who needs special attention to their pouching problems will find Nu-Hope Laboratories Inc...I pray even more that this wonderful family never go out of business.
Thank You "Nu-Hope"...you definitely have the right name!

I am an ostomate with an ileostomy who suffered very painful leakage because I couldn't find the right system. My ostomy nurse finally suggested NuHope pouches, and life has been better ever since! I live near NuHope's home base, so they even accomodated me picking up some samples to be sure they would work.

Poorly run company. I've been having trouble with my appliances not sticking, and contacted them at least 5 times, using both emails and phone calls, asking for samples of their products, and a recommendation of what might meet my needs.. They sent nothing.
